How to manage folders
As you open up access to the Latana app for various teams within your company, things can start to get a little hectic. Especially when multiple team members have editing access and begin to create the charts and dashboards they need. This is where our folder feature comes in handy!
Folders help you keep things tidy and organised. To create a new chart or dashboard folder, you can follow two paths:
A. On the charts or dashboard page click on the New folder button in the upper right hand corner, specify a name and click Create folder.
B. Click on the + button in the navigation bar anywhere in the APP. Select Folder, toggle to select whether you want to create a chart or dashboard folder, specify a name and click Create folder
To rename or delete your folder click the three white dots on the right hand side of your folder name:
To add charts or dashboards into folders you can either drag and drop them into any folder or use the three white dots in the overview or in the charts or dashboard view. The number next to the three dots indicates how many items are in the folder.
If you use the menu to move the item to a folder, select the correct folder in the dropdown.
You can enter a folder by clicking on them. In the folder, you can use the same actions menu to remove charts from the folder again. You can do the same in the charts or dashboard view. Then they will reappear on the main page.
